Terms and Conditions
By paying our booking deposit you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Booking Process
When a booking enquiry is made it will be placed under a temporary notice. We reserve the right to accept other bookings for the date in question after one week. To confirm a booking, you must pay the booking fee.
Booking Deposit
Upon booking, we require a £50 non-refundable booking deposit. Once this has been paid, we will confirm your booking with LDS Entertainment. Where an order is over £500, we will require a non-refundable deposit of 20%. Once the deposit has been paid, a confirmation email will be sent to the email you provided.
Payments
Full payment of the remaining balance is due two weeks before your event. Once full payment has been received, it is non-refundable within the week of the event.
Cancellation
It is solely your responsibility to inform us as soon as possible, should you cancel this event, and we may charge a cancellation fee.
The booking deposit is non-refundable in the case of any cancellations from the time of booking. You may be able to transfer a date, should you wish but this is subject to our availability and discretion. A £25 admin fee is required for any date transfer within ONE year of the original event, this is non-refundable.
Cancellations more than 4 months = 0% of the final balance (booking fee non-refundable.)
Cancellations less than 1 month = 50% of the balance (booking fee non-refundable.)
Cancellations less than 1 week = 100% of the balance (booking fee non-refundable.)
Zero Tolerance
Swearing, violent threats or any abusive behaviour will not be tolerated. The DJ has the right to leave/pack away if he/she feels threatened or unsafe. There will be no refund if a DJ is in an unsafe environment and has to stop because of this.
Unless given permission no guest/member of staff may use or move any equipment belonging to the DJ/performer. The client will ensure there is adequate supervision of guests, customers, and staff at the event, and will be liable for any loss of, or damage to our equipment, vehicles, or personal belongings, whether caused by the client, guests, customers, staff, or any other person(s) within the perimeter of the venue and its car parking facilities.
Access To Venue
We require access to the function room at least one hour prior to the start time to set up the equipment. It is the client’s responsibility to inform the venue that we can only set up in a limited amount of time which will relate to access to the performance area and the optional extras you may have chosen.
Video & Photography
We reserve the right to take photo’s and video’s the event. This will be very limited. Video’s and photo’s may be used for promotional purposes only and displayed online and on printed and social media. You are more than welcome to have copies after the event, when requested. If you wish to protect your privacy, and your guest, you must make LDS Entertainment aware of this prior to the event taking place. If requested on booking, then no photos or video will be taken.
Legal Documents
Upon request, LDS Entertainment can provide evidence of Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and Public Liability Insurance (PLI).
Health & Safety
We are not liable in any way for any injuries that may occur to third parties due to the actions of the clients, guests, customers, or staff. This may include, but is not restricted to drunken behaviour, use of drugs or other abusive behaviour.
Please make sure any medical conditions including epilepsy is clearly indicated when booking with LDS Entertainment.
Whilst setting up and packing away, we encouraged that any public/customers must be clear of the area until we have finished.
Hire Of Equipment
The hirer is responsible for ensuring the safety of the equipment and public health whilst being hired.
The hirer will have their own PLI to cover themselves when using equipment hired by LDS Entertainment.
LDS Entertainment takes no reasonability if anyone is injured by the equipment hired.
The hirer is responsible for the equipment and will be charged extra if found to be broken or damaged when equipment is returned.
It is in the best interest of the hirer to use the equipment as instructed only. Upon rental, the hirer will be shown how to operate and maintain a healthy working environment in which to use the equipment.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE OR ALTER OUR TERMS AND CONDTIONS AT ANY TIME.
